Eliwind
The new technology GIANO * (Patented by Orlando Lozzi) summarizes all the aerodynamic advantages of fast mills with the simplicity of vertical axis turbines, being this type of rotor construction a “hybrid” between the vertical axis system (VAWT) and the horizontal axis (HAWT). Each of the three blades is composed of two (and \ or 3) aerodynamic profiles equal to each other that are mounted suitably spaced apart, this in order to allow the rotor to self-boot with modest wind speeds (1,5 \ 2 m \ S).
The rotor during this much faster rotation of the wind flow, due to its peculiar conformation (sub-vertical impeller) creates a secondary flow phenomenon, induced with respect to that of the main current, which develops an entire upper circular zone of the rotor and is port in the inner conical area between the blades, giving a further portion of the kinetic energy of the flow to the blades, the power on the shaft in this way is greatly increased.
TECHNOLOGY
Motor body with friction kinematic system dissipative almost zero, self-starting.
Three profiles “terraced”, anti-stall with predetermined orientation on three of flight orbits, placed at “V” (sub-vertical girant).
ELIWIND* it is available in 6 different power ratings: 1kWp-Giano Giano Giano 3kWp-6kWp-Giano-10 kWp 20 kWp-Giano Giano 60kWp (photo at right).
